Not ours, but nearby

I can’t believe I don’t have any other posts by this name. There could be a whole series! This is a neighbor’s house. I’ll just let you take it in.

Is that one of those fancy expensive modern light bulbs in that ancient lamp fixture? Just can’t keep to the old ways.

I hate ’em. Try to keep the pipes from freezing under the sink with one of those, hah!

In deference to what you normally bemoan, I have to ask in reality, does one really need anything more?

Did you by any chance read the first version of this post? 🙂

But anyway, no, one doesn’t. I’ve lived in much more primitive situations and felt exceedingly blessed. And I’m tired to death of bemoaning. I’d like to bemoan no more forever. What’s happened to me is that I’ve run up against the stops of what’s possible with every old way of living my life that I can think of. This is not a bad thing! I’m also ready to leave Taos, if it comes to that. Could just as easily stay, too. Not concentrating on “place” at the the moment, but it could come up.
